SPOILER ALERT
If you think Tara’s new beau, Eggs (Mehcad Brooks), seems too good to be true, you’re right. He’s got a secret. A very, very, very old secret that will soon be revealed. How will Tara react when she learns who Eggs really is? “I’m curious to know if it freaks her out,” says Rutina Wesley (Tara). “With everything else going on in Louisiana, she’ll probably be like, ‘I like you, whatever…’”

I’m sure AB will pull something off-kilter out of his creative hat. Book 2 didn’t mention much about Tara and Eggs (HA…Tara and eggs…hee) so let’s see…Maybe AB will find a way for Sam and Tara to rekindle their dysfunctional relationship…
I must say though that Eggs is FIIIIIIIINE. I just wish he had a different moniker. My word association for “Eggs” is somehow more twisted…I’m veering towards the perverse highway…

It must have been a very late night to have come up with that name! Can you imagine it, “Hey, lets name him Eggs”, “Yea that will work! Now lets go get breakfast!” lol

Well of course there’s something off about Eggs lol. Oh well, I’d rather Sam and Tara get back together =) Even if they’re dysfunctional, they work.

I’m even more curious how Tara will react when she finds out about Sam. Whatever Eggs is coupled with Shapeshifter Sam will probably freak her out but she’ll recover because that’s the kind of woman she is.
I too want Sam and Tara back together and while Eggs is a nice distraction and a great storyline, I want my “Puppy Man” to win the heart of the lady.

The name “Eggs” comes from his name being “Benedict”. I can’t remember if it’s his 1st or last name from the books, but he does refer to it in the show when he first introduces himself. It will be interesting to see where AB goes with this story line, because it is not in the books this way at all.
