Brad in Memphis, Tenn.: What else can you tell us about the new supernatural creature that appears on True Blood this season?
We can tell you that the creature appears in the June 28 episode and brutally attacks Sookie (Anna Paquin). It’s got a bull head, a half animal, half human body, gnarly claws and is poisonous like a Komodo dragon. And it almost kills Sookie. But Eric and Bill (Stephen Moyer) team to help make her as good as new. Oh, and we soon find out the murdered voodoo lady from the first episode of the season was a victim of this same creature.

there was a major hint as to maryann’s character when sookie was trying to pick up on her thoughts.
Daphne’s just a dingbat. They go through a number of waitresses at the bar…. she’s pretty funny. Though it will be interesting because on the trailers they seem to have her whispering into Sam’s ear that she knows what he is. So maybe she’s a really airy shifter.

Wait a minute. It took Sookie hearing Marianne’s thoughts before you realized that there was something up about Marianne? Umm…how about when Tara got into her DUI accident? She was there but wasn’t she a centaur? Or how about her freaky shaking episodes she has? Yeaaa….she is definitely something. I was thinking along the lines of something demonic. The foreign dialect and the black eyes in the people around her…they are obviously possessed or something. Her party was like a big fat orgy! But what the hell is the deal with the pig and what the hell is that minotaur thing? I am even more hooked now than I was with the first season! Love it!

anyone notice the flashback of bill and his maker when they had the flapper in the room? you notice the book bill was reading was titled “ANCIENT GREEK GODS MYTHS”… with maryanne being a manead i would assume in the finale bill will have something to do with her demise
