This was hard had to chose between Godric and Maryann. I picked Maryann, but now I change my mind, lol! Godric’s death was really beautiful. Great acting there with Anna and Allan(Allen??). But I also think Maryann’s death was strangely beautoful aswell. I love the show of her and the bull walking towards each other. Pretty poetic

the thing about maryann’s death was it didn’t happen soon enough. the bull was gorgeous though.

Godric’s was the most heroic by far, even beautiful. He was ready and met the sun willingly. Sookie was there to keep him company and to weep for him. The scene was very well played by Alan and Anna.
The most grisly for me was Royce’s dismemberment.
And I would agree about Maryann’s death. She met her lord at long last, and discovered to her surprise that she was the vessel. And she was willing. Then came the awful realization that there was no god. Poetic justice that Sam brought her down.

Me it has to be Maryanne, because I did not expect a meanad to die. I went throught Mrs Harris Books to get a clue, even the definition on wikipedia did not help. I quite surprise when she got killed. Well done to the writters.

Godric had the best death but I just had to put Maryann because she just had to die or I would scream. Sam pulled it off in true heroic fashion and Maryann really needed to die!

I agree–the choice was between Godric and Maryann. I had even clicked Godric first, because his was so powerful and poignant. But then I had to switch to Maryann because hers was SOOOOO satisfying–I’d been looking forward to it for months and still managed to be surprised and delighted (I see God in that–haha).

the godric scene was quite beautiful and wonderfully acted by allan and anna, but i loved watching over and over carl die. there was something incredibly funny and appropriate about it because he was so robotic. it was clank and the fall, and then the hilarious “he never advanced in this life” comment. too bad we didn’t get to vote for last season because longshadow’s was definately the most believable and horrible. kudo’s to whomever made that scene happen, despite i’d not really watch it again. but what a shocker! did they just dip anna in a big pot o’ blood? clank and fall – PRICELESS!

I was glad to say goodbye to the others including Stan who was not on the list, nor was Gabe. I chose Godric. I would have liked for TB Godric to stay a while longer. AB said it’s not out of the question to have flashbacks of him but none are planned at this time. It was a very well done scene with Alan and Anna.
I do like that Sam was the instrument of destruction in MA’s demise.

I’m so happy that Maryann was dead and the town returned to normal, but compare it to Godric’s death, the latter moved me.
