I agree with Sanna. When Maryann wasn’t wearing Grandma Stackhouses’ dresses she looked really fab. Especially when she went to get Sam when he was in jail.
Pam’s horrific glitter 80’s jumpsuit in 2×11 kept me from voting for her.

Tracksuit it may have been but it still looked hot. Not many people can pull that off so he wins for that alone.
Same goes for jeans and flip flops :)

In my head I read “most fun” for best. Maryann’s was beautiful but I loved Lafayette’s outlandish clothes (the exception being when he was chained in the dungeon of Fangtasia).

I have said it before, I still believe Maryann was consistent with dressing well all season. She may have been a loon but she knew how to dress. There were exceptions but for the season as a whole MA handsdown had the best wardrobe.

I also think Lorena had some killer outfits…get it? Killer? Anyway she was a nutjob who we all despised, but she did look nice most of the time. It baffles me how myopic the Eric fans are and will not be open minded about anything that doesn’t involve him. Yes, he is a good looking man, no one disputes that, but he is not the be all end all of this show. I am a Bill lover, but I did not vote for him in this category and anyone that thinks Eric was best dressed clearly wasn’t watching with a clear head.

I totally agree. I do think Eric is hot but he was sooo not the best dressed. I also am a Bill lover and even though I think he was better dressed that Eric, I did not vote for him either. I personally preferred MA’s attire.

I was under the impression that we could vote for anyone on the list, without others trying to tell us we shouldn’t. Eric was on the list, and IMO, his wardrobe in the bed scene with Sookie was enough to win him the title! Seriously though, he is the only one I watch and the only reason that next summer I will get HBO again for 3 months. Thanks, Aaine, for summing it up nicely!

My knee jerk response was Maryann, but then I thought of the wide range of wardrobe Sookie wore from her “daisy dukes” to the Dallas airport dress, the vamp Dallas party, the great sun dresses, and then the lavender chiffon in the finale. I had to vote for her, but I also love Pam’s high camp style of dressing.
