Thank you, Stephen, for commenting on the Authority. I can certainly see how the US election year helped inspire this story line. One comment I do have … it would appear that the Authority, headquartered in New Orleans, has governance over all of vampire society. I’m wondering how that sits with vampires outside the United States. How comfortable can they be with a governing body residing solely in the US.

I’m beyond sick of the Authority and Christopher Meloni!! I hope he is the first one to be staked!! This has been the worst start to True Blood yet. The only saving grace will be when Sookie and Alcide get it on in the coming weeks.

I’m actually pretty fascinated by the Authority storyline. I just love the twists and turns, Heyerdahl and Meloni are great. My only complaint would be that Salome’s talk with Bill was so oddly intimate, the sudden sex ruined a little of that magic.
Either way, I can’t wait till Lilith shows up, plus everyone’s been hinting at a big, crazy vamp-showdown which should be amazing!
