Just finished watching (again)…loved it. He’s so loose with the boys. So unbearably cute! I was wondering if he chose to live in Venice Beach in CA, because the name was so close to Little Venice, where he lived on his house boat in London.

good observation even if it is just a coincidence.
Venice Beach is where Anna Paquin has lived for a couple years, so I bet that’s part of it. ;)
i heart this interview. i love the six million dollar man skit. looks like he really enjoyed this show, more goofball fun than the view. jimmie seems like an enthusiastic host too and they had a good rapport. this was my frst time seeing his late night show. also, stephen rocked the video game. of course he would. he’s perfect at everything. and i do believe this should serve as his saturday night live audition. nbc are you listening??? well, i’m writing you a letter anyway so it doesn’t matter if you are or not haha.
Thanks for posting the vids, Shad. That Bill/Jessica scene is still cracking me up. I’m glad we got two completely different clips from Stephen’s two appearances yesterday. Come on Sunday!!
I keep laughing every time I watch this. Stephen was really funny and I commend Jimmy for having him as a guest (as opposed to all the others who ignored the requests). Hopefully, he’ll be invited to do Saturday Night Live. Good looking and funny, Stephen is a treasure!!

others=Ellen DeGeneres and Bonnie Hunt. Kelly, Lisa and I had a writing campaign for months, lead by Kelly. Did contact The View several times…but I doubt that my requests had anything to do with them booking him.
I love his littkle double take when Jimmy was talking about the teeth and said to John that Jimmy was a real fan or something like that. Great intev the games where fun to see too
The Bill/Jessica clip is hilarious. “Awesome!” LOL LOL I think it’s cute that he wants Jessica to look presentable when Sookie gets there, hehe

i thought it was cute and so old fashioned when he said “lady of the night”.
Calibelle Reply:June 11th, 2009 at 18:01
I know, I love Bill’s old-fashionedness, it’s so adorable! (At least, as adorable as a very powerful vampire can get.)
And this interview was just the greatest. Stephen has such an awesome sense of humor, I love it! He always makes me smile, no matter what he does.
Doesn’t he say lady of the evening?? That’s even better, lol
I have to watch it a few more times before I can really comment ~ it was that good! All interviewers should be like Jimmy.

Ok, he’s just too funny, I loved it all, LOL. It’s just great how it seemed they were having a great time and so were we watching.
Did you all get the purple boat pick-up line…… naughty, naughty.
The clip was great, let it be Sunday.
Stephen was wonderful (as he was on the View.) He certainly did True Blood proud! I adore this man. He is the whole package… a sense of humor, charm, sweetness (I could go on and on) and I sure like to look at him.
He is returning to L.A. triumphant!
I’m so glad I stayed up way past my bedtime to catch this show. It was so frickin’ funny. I just love Stephen and everything about him! I’ll be re-watching this over and over again.
What a hoot! Watched last night, and it’s a pleasure to re-visit. Stephen is the most delightful, charming, funny guest. The purple vessel, “Are you trying to grow a beard?,” “Wouldn’t touch her with a barge pole.” Gotta’ love it. Many, many thanks to our wonderful enablers. Hugs.
ETA: from the clip … Bill’s “slattern, i.e., lady of the evening comment.” Haven’t heard that word in decades.
Calibelle Reply:June 12th, 2009 at 0:19
Yeah when I heard that line it reminded me of that “white trash” family from Gone With The Wind, the Slatterys, hahah. How appropriate!
Once again my fav part was him nibbling his fingers waiting for his turn to play the game. You know all those so called men on the show where just little boys witing to play a game. Bet he buys this game!
cocoablossoms Reply:June 11th, 2009 at 23:05
it was really cute. i was like can the guy give him one, i know he wants it. this is why i love stephen, ok one of a million reasons, but he can be cute like a little boy one minute and then be dashing and sophisticated the next. more please!!!
Has anyone been able to see what the pendant around his neck looks like? I think it fell out of his shirt a couple of times, but I still couldn’t get a good look at it.
Shadaliza Reply:June 12th, 2009 at 0:35
You can see it better here: http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/7034/s2premierearrivals72.jpg
it looks like a symbol on a round pendant.
caleno Reply:June 12th, 2009 at 8:29
uh, second vid is not working… I love the first one.
Shadaliza Reply:June 12th, 2009 at 0:30
It works just fine.
Ana Reply:June 12th, 2009 at 1:15
Now I could see, but only after my fourth attempt. My computer is acting weird lately…
I saw it, loved it :)
He’s so adorable! All that AND a bag of chips! Shad, how can I get my own avatar working for your site?
This was a wonderful interview, I love his sense of humor.
I love this man!!!!, and yes the chest hair is back.
I was extremely lucky to get tickets at the last minute to this taping. It was well worth the work! Couldn’t get in on stand by for the View but SM was so much better on Jimmy Fallon! The whole show was great and he really seemed to have a great time playing games with the boys. I even got my 5 seconds of fame on TV when the guy next to me got called to play “cell phone shoot out”.
luvinbill Reply:June 12th, 2009 at 21:18
omg skimom… more details please I am greedy – so is it true that he is more beautiful in person??? That was a great interview SM is so funny, adorable – the total package!
It’s no wonder why we’re called Billsbabes. We all have HIS humor. I feel randy just thinking about it. LOL.
Shadaliza Reply:June 13th, 2009 at 8:17
We do have a lot of fun, don’t we?
