Not that we had any doubt about with newly appointed show runner Mark Hudis, but it seems that True Blood will indeed be back for a sixth season.
Todd Lowe mentioned a sixth season in an interview with Celebuzz while talking about Anna Paquin’s pregnancy.
“I think she is due right before we start (filming) the sixth season.” Lowe revealed.
No official word from HBO (yet) about a next season.

When I first heard that the original cast signed on for seven years, I had no doubt that we’d have lots of seasons of True Blood – so glad to know a sixth season will be in the making! YIPPEE!

We should wait for the official confirmation from HBO before we celebrate. But it’s great that Todd is confident that there will be Season 6 of True Blood.

I would love nothing more then to audition for this show. it is incredibly intoxicating beyond words and I would like my actions to prove worthy to even the smallest part of this show.
