Below is a video recap of this week’s True Blood episode 5.09 showing us the hightlights that happened.
We now know who the vampire haters are and Sookie and Hoyt have been saved, but the blowing up of True Blood factories and what’s going on in the Authority worries me alot. What about you?

Scratching my head over this one. All kinds of things I didn’t like to see happening … Bill’s descent into Lilith-induced darkness, Emma’s being given to Steve, my positive memories of Bud Dearborn tarnished. I was rather surprised that the ifrit and hate group story lines wrapped as quickly as they did, all in one episode. Bang, bang … they were done. We barely met Sweetie and she’s out of the picture. Looks like Luna snapped her neck. A re-watch may help me sort out my feelings but for now I am less than thrilled with this episode.

I agree, after this episode I was thinking WTF? And not in a good way. Reminder to self, keep a chop stick in my hair for emergencies. Interesting both Pam and Arlene happened to have them this episode. Wouldn’t a wooden chopstick qualify as a stake? Why would Pam wear one? Lots of WtF moments in 5.09.

I had to watch twice, but saw that Arlene had a pencil in her hair. It must have had a super sharp point to do the damage it did to Patrick. However, Arlene was very angry and that gave strength and impetus to her thrust.

Something that really bugged me about last night’s episode…rather than Jason and Andy kicking the crap out of that red neck in jail to no avail, why in the world didn’t they have Jessica glamor him for the information??? I mean, she was at the police station and all?

Good point, Mary. That would have worked.

But would have cut 30 minutes off the show, LOL.
BTW, I did love the “fly on the wall” bit.

The thing that has upset me the most is Emma being taken by russell. I blame Martha . She should have kept some distance between the pack and Emma especially after he tried to give her V.

Can’t believe Eric was almost out of there and Bill betrayed him, blowing up factories, dreaming about killing Sookie wow he’s like a junkie only thinking about his next fix, he’s consumed.
