Lindsay in Houston: I cannot wait until this summer! Talk to me about True Blood!
Sookie’s power is not unique to her. She’ll meet a young Texan named Barry who reads minds, and they freak each other a little when they discover each other’s powers. Also, great news for us Eric fans: We’ll be catching up with him in 10th century Scandinavia, likely when he was first turned into a vampire. Holler!

Vikings. Yes, that was clear when the casting call for episode 2.05 was published. Sounds very exciting. Let’s hope Alan Ball isn’t fooling us on this one.

Wow! I have been wanting to get more of Eric’s story. This will be wonderful character development. Anyone who’s a 1000 year old Viking just has to have a very interesting tale to tell. Can’t wait!
Let’s just hope they don’t put poor Eric in that hideous clown white-face like they did last season. Everytime I see that scene with Eric and Bill in the office at Fangtasia, I just cringe.

Amen AB, amen indeed.

I read on another site that the white face paint in that scene was leftover from Eric’s stage time at Fangtasia, you know where he sits in the chair so the patrons can oogle a real vampire. I was trying to recall if I saw that face paint in any other scenes, but I can’t, so…perhaps this would explain it. I always wondered about the timeline of that scene. Were Bill and Sookie coming to Fangtasia after it closed? Must have been one late night for our dynamic duo.

I don’t think that there was much in the books about Eric’s life. So, this will be very interesting especially with Alan Ball’s creative turns.
