TVLine breaks the news of the casting of a very exciting role.
British actress Lucy Griffiths has been cast as Nora, Eric’s vampire sister.
This was the casting call:
[NORA] 25 to 35. Beautiful, any race, centuries old. A double agent working within the Vampire Authority. Eric’s vampire “sister” – a progeny of Godric. Intelligent, intimidating, cool under pressure and a very good liar. She loves Eric deeply, but has dedicated her life to a higher purpose. Series Regular. Possible nudity.
25 Year old Griffiths is best know for her role as Marian in the BBC drama Robin Hood and Ruth in the TV series The Little House. She will be a series regular on True Blood.

I thought she’d be blonde too – not because she’s Eric’s sister, but because most of the women on True Blood seem to be brunettes or redheads, apart from Sookie!
