Buddy TV has come out with their list of the sexiest men of 2009 and three of the True Blood men have made the top 100. Alexander Skarsgård came in at #2, Mehcad Brooks is #28 and Ryan Kwanten is at #32. We have to say that there seem to be some other True Blood hunks that we think should have been recognized, namely, Sam Trammell, Stephen Moyer and Jim Parrack, just to name three.
Congratulations to the True Blood men who made it to the top 100!

I actually left a comment on TV Guide. I mean, they did this big photo shoot of Stephen and Anna not long back, and I can tell you they were not UGLY! They were SEXY as hell!!
This has upset me, I mean, I am happy for the 3 who were listed, but Stephen is much better looking and sexier than all 3 of them put together. Also, there were some not very good looking men in that lot! As I have said, How disgusting! Don’t buy TV Guide, Bill lovers!!
I wonder if this is because of what AB/Writers decided to do to Bill on TB – “uglify” him!

Congrats to Alex, Ryan and Mehcad. Everybody on the True Blood cast deserves a place in the spotlight. This is their time, so stop complaining about who you would have liked on that list. Next time is will be Steve and Sam. They are all extremely good looking and sexy men and will take turns on the various lists.

Stephen’s omission is simply too ridiculous to believe. Who made up that list anyway? And there is NO WAY that AS should be at number 2. He’s sexy…I get that, but I can think of at least ten other actors (besides the glaringly obvious Stephen Moyer) on TV right now who are much cuter and sexier. Let’s see….Simon Baker, David Boreanez, Kyle Chandler (who makes normal sexy…much harder than making vampire sexy IMO), Taylor Kitsch (sp?), Kevin McKidd, Justin Chambers, Taye Diggs, Josh Holloway (even though Lost isn’t back on yet he makes the list. He always makes the list), Daniel Sunjata (Rescue Me), Paul Wesley (a bit young but…). I would also put Sam Trammel up there. Heck, I’d put my husband up there, but he isn’t on TV (thank God).
I guess maybe AS just isn’t my type. I can nod and admit he’s good looking, but he doesn’t appeal to me. *shrugs*

There will be plenty more Best Of lists to come. I tend to think most contests of this sort are pumped up by votes from the young set, and the above three attractive and deserving True Blood men, are, well, younger than the handsome, slow-burning Stephen and sweet Sam. And both SM and ST are in committed relationships, so that makes them “unavailable” in the fan/fantasy mindset. Just my armchair psychologist take on it LOL

I agree that all of the True Blood men chosen deserve to be on the list, but really, why isn’t Stephen Moyer on that list? I love AS, but Stephen wins hands down in attraction! He says more with his eyes and his wry smiles than the entire cast together. I also hope that Mechad will be in some other films- Except for TB, the only other thing I have ever seen him in was In the Vally of Elah. The guy has some good acting chops among other assets.
