Yesterday, I met with Marcia DeRousse, who played Dr. Ludwig on True Blood’s Season 2. We both attended the Love That Dog Hollywood Holiday Dog Adoption in Los Angeles where she appeared as an animal communicator and celebrity judge.
Love that Dog Hollywood continues to rescue, save lives and find loving homes for Dogs in the Los Angeles community. Those that came out yesterday, were able to adopt a dog from the LA City & County Mobile Adoption Unit, learn about helping out shelter dogs and meet Santa as well as see live entertainment. Local area rescue groups were there as well. Many who attended brought their dogs along for a fun time since the event offered an opportunity for our best four-legged friends to celebrate the holidays.

It was a delight to meet Marcia and speak with her for a few minutes. Below is a photo of Marcia and a video where she talks to me about how much she enjoyed playing her role of Dr. Ludwig and what she is doing now.

Lynn, you are one busy lady. Thanks for this. It sounds like a wonderful event. I hope there were many adoptions. Marcia DeRousse is delightful. Interesting comments about her communication with Splash. I’d love to see her back on True Blood, but it looks like that won’t happen.

Lynn our roving reporter never lets us down. Marcia is delightful and so talented, a great role must be waiting just around the corner for her. If the brief appearance as Dr. Ludwig is all we get she certainly left us wanting more and left quite an impression.
How lovely she is involved with animal rescue and adoptions. Our animal friends deserve a loving permanent home. Cute she did a reading with Splash.

Great job as always Lynn. This is such a worthwhile event. I applaude and appreciate Marcia for doing this for our furry friends. The beautiful, loving creatures deserve to have a good and happy life. Unfortunately, that doesn’t always happen.
