In episode 4 of Season 5, Kristin Bauer and Alexander Skarsgård have a beautiful scene together when Eric releases Pam from her obligation as his progeny.They both talk, in the video below, about how much the scene effected each of them.

The loss of their maker-progeny connection and the feelings it engendered came across big time on the screen. Eric’s reasons were understandable. But, they had been together, a team, for over 100 years. And now what was in store for them? I can truly understand the sadness and the hurt.
