My absolute favorite thing about True Blood is the fact that is really it’s own show. There are similarities with the series, but the way True Blood comes together as a TV show is really amazing! Great job you guys! YOU are the reason I love True Blood!!!!

What I love the most about True Blood is the Characters! you get so wrapped up in there story lines that it feels like your standing right there next to Sookie, Bill, Eric, and the rest of the cast. I could not miss an episode or I would die!

I would love to win tickets for EyeCon! What I love about True Blood: I love that fact that the storyline doesn’t follow the books. It keeps me guessing. I have yet to see an episode that doesn’t thrill and excite. One hour a week just isn’t enough. And the acting is superb. I haven’t seen acting this good with characters this developed since…well…ever.

I love how Alan Ball has taken a great story/series and has put his own spin on the characters and plot. It’s like watching old friends in new adventures. He is very creative and I enjoy being surprised with his sort-of re-telling of old stories. Of course, I love how all of the actors portray the characters. They make good characters even better. Thank you, Mr. Ball and the cast and crew of True Blood.

I love True Blood because it’s based on Charlaine Harris’ books. I live in the same town she does and read the books when they came out back in the 90’s. I went to school at Louisiana Tech University in the part of Louisiana that is the setting for both the books and the show. It’s cool to drive through Shreveport and wonder “Where is Fangtasia?” LoL!

My favorite part of True Blood is the character development of Lafayette and Eric!!! They are my 2 favorite characters on the show! I also like that they are creating a world outside of the books to keep it interesting while keeping the world of the books alive.

I have great affection for the characters on “True Blood” and although the supernatural goings-on, the irreverent humor, and the freewheelin’ sex are all more fun than one should expect from a TV show, it’s the characters that keep me tuning in each week. Whether I’m rooting for them or loving to hate them, there is no other show on TV that has made me care so much about fictional characters and what is happening in their lives. I’m a little embarrassed to admit that I have actually had bad dreams about the show when I was upset about what was going on with one of the characters. Okay, it was at the end of season 1 when they made us think–for a nanosecond–that Lafayette was dead and Bill might have “fed” on him. Another time I had a restless night was after Eric tricked Sookie into ingesting some of his blood–his line “this is the beginning” in that dream sequence gave ME a bad dream sequence. I tell myself “Get a grip, it’s just a TV show!” and then I remember Bill’s face when Sookie left the table in tears after his proposal and I feel like crying!

So that’s what I love most about “True Blood”–the unique, funny, sexy, dark, romantic, sweet, rednecky, bloodthirsty characters. So thanks to Charlaine Harris, Alan Ball and his brilliant team of writers and actors, and everyone else involved in the show. Keep those restless nights and bad dreams coming!

What I love most about True Blood is Alan Ball. In my humble opinion, he is a GENIUS! I never knew about True Blood until this summer that passed. When I found out who was the master behind this vampire show, I was floored! The characters are beautifully written and cast, the storyline never gets old or boring, and his common flow through all his series/movies; death and everything about it.

I love everything about the show! The actors are amazing and really bringing the characters to amazing heights. The best part is that the show is different from the books, but still stick with the basic storyline that i love. Every week i look forward to sundays, and every week it’s never enough, but I’m always glued to the tv. I also love discussing the show with my friends and getting the word out about this amazing show. So I can’t just pick one thing, because thats impossible for me. I can’t wait for season 3!

What I love about True Blood, so many things. The first and foremost is how it is true to the Sookie Stackhouse novels and where it differs is true to the ideas of the author and how it would play out in her world if the events unfolded in that fashion. The actors are spectacular and I am thrilled to watch each week. I love the show and am a true fan til the end.

I love True Blood for many reasons. The fact that it doesn’t follow the book always keeps me at the edge of my seat and always makes me go back and flip through the books to see if I can figure out what will happen next. I also enjoy the fact that for a vampire series, the dynamic is completely different. The fact that it takes place in backwoods Louisiana gives it a different feel and really shows a different culture and way of living. The relationships between the characters are unbelievable and it makes the viewers feel as if they are apart of the show and know each character on a personal level.

My favorite thing is the amazing chemistry between all of the actors, and their belief in what they’re doing – because THAT is what makes the writing and directing come alive – actors who are fully invested in what they’re doing, and who strive to work well with each other. The soundtrack choices have been spot on as well – amazing sound editor & taste in music. And the cinematography, the way the pic is shot (the mood?)…I dunno – I just love the heck out of True Blood. I’m a full-on addict.

i became an addict of trueblood after reading every book atleast 100 times. the characters are amazing. i love the fact that layfette wasn’t killed off, that eric is exactly like the character in the book, inviting new characters like jessica (absolutely adorable), & the love story behind it all. the story line is excitingly different but yet its the same. the fact that it draws me in & keeps me there is a thrill in itself. i love the horror, the thrill of the scare, & the unexpected. there is no other show on television that can even come close to trueblood. the only bad thing about trueblood is the loneliness of waiting for it to come back on in 6 months. i have always wanted to meet the cast, some even before trueblood. i would love to win tickets to see them in orlando, its just an hour and a half from me. it would be the best early christmas present ever!!! thank you for your time.

I was hooked from day 1. I bought the books the second episode of the 1st season. I am such a fan that I did the most embarassing thing about 2 weeks after season on aired. I posted a youtube video for Alan Ball..I wanted to be on the show. I still look back and say to myself,Dear Lord! What was wrong with me? I was so obsessed with the show that I must have watched the 1st five Episodes at least 10x each after each one aired. I was afraid I wouldn’t snap out of it. Bill,Sookie, and Sam totally over powered me..I am such a fan of Vampires. When this Series came out I prepared myself for Sunday’s. Just want you to know that I continue to get all my friends involved. I have the 1st season. Yet, I haven’t watched it myself. I keep loaning it out to people who haven’t yet got hooked.. Now, they are!!

I am a Fan!! At one point I thought I was losing it..LOL I thought I would need True Blood Anonymous!! I call it (TBA) It’s a Great Show!!

I love TrueBlood because of how the show puts new twists into the plot from the storyline of the series, but still manages to come to the same place by the end of the season as the books. It makes the show so intriguing, original, addictive, and amazing! I also love how some of the more minor characters in the book come alive in the show such as Lafayette, Tara, Eggs, Hoyt, and Andy. The love triangle between Sookie, Bill, and Eric in the show is also incredibly addictive to watch, because of the uncertainty of what will happen next! Overall, I love TrueBlood because it has the right combination of everything that an amazing show needs, great plot, comedy, romance, some horror, drama, great acting, and originality, and honestly, not many shows have captured my attention enough for me to be able to say I am an addict of the show and absolutely love it. This show is amazing, and really I just love everything about it.

I love sinking my teeth into this show every Sunday during the summer. I would have TB viewing parties and me and my friends would obsess over Eric, Bill, and Godric. Charlaine Harris really knows how to draw people in with her literature, and HBO really knows how to make people say “WHAT THE HELL?!” in the last five minutes of the show. It grabbed you. It entranced you. It made you want to be Sookie. It made me want to be friends with Lafayette. It made me want to be a tortured vampire in the town of Bon Temps. I loved this show so much, that I had to allot myself an hour on a Sunday night to make sure my mother wasn’t home to see that I was watching it (she doesn’t like the pg-13 rated scenes, but she’s an avid fan as well). The combination of humor and intense drama and a little bit of action is the perfect recipe for the most heart-racing and comical show out there. I also love this show because it’s nothing like Twilight. It brings a new perspective to Vampires and the fictional Vampire community. I get a little too enthralled when I start planning campaigns to EQUALIZE VAMPIRE RIGHTS. I’m far beyond the line of sanity with this show. I’m way beyond being a ‘normal’ fan. I obsess, I fantasize, and I adore this show. Enough Said.

There are so many reasons I love True Blood. First, the complexity of the plotlines, which always keep me guessing right until the end. Each and every episode ends in a tease, and I always have to know exactly what’s coming next. That’s why I come back every week. The actors are all amazing. I don’t know who is my favorite, since everyone does their part so incredibly. Alex, Sam, Stephen, Anna, everyone does such an amazing job, and I would love to be able to meet them. I would always talk to people I knew watched it after each episode, and we would try to plan what we believed would be happening the next week. I would love to meet with them and find out how they view the characters, and what their thoughts are for the next season.

What I love about True Blood:
    1. They can take the most outlandish, freaky and impossible storylines and make them believable (I mean, really! Who licks an egg? Maryann Forrester and her wedding party, of course!)

    2. The actors do an incredible job of bringing these characters to life (or undead). Their portrayals make you care about these people. I worry that Sam finding his parents will be a very bad thing, I hope that Tara can find a way to cope with losing Eggs that doesn’t involve drinking, I desperately wish that the next time I see ESN it won’t be a dream sequence!!!

    3. The people on this show are just plain SEXY! All of the main actors are drool-inducing, panty evaporating, nuclear meltdown kind of hot! Did I make my point? They are BLAZING!

    4. While there are parallels to the SVM books, Alan Ball isn’t afraid to make huge departures from them. I like that Sophie-Ann is clearly off her rocker, bat-crap crazy, not so staid and old school like she was in the books. The absence of my least favorite character, Andre, as of yet, makes me mucho happy.

    5. Alexander Skarsgard as Eric. NOM NOM NOM! Could he be more perfect? I think not. I would slap my granny for a chance to pass out at his feet like an idiot. Although he wasn’t in NEAR enough of the first 2 seasons, he made every second of screen time count. Here Eric, let me help you out of that racerback tank and those but hugging jeans…. Oh, sorry, got a little distracted there.

    6. The special effects are phenomenal for the small screen! I watch I Will Rise Up over and over again just to see the gooey chunks of Luke dripping off of the walls after he blows himself up. Eric flying? Wowie wow wow….

    7. The dialogue is funny (teacup humans!), sad (the whole scene where my Viking is on his knee’s, begging his Maker not to commit suicide), poignant (Bill calling Sookie his miracle and refusing to be sorry for loving her), I could go on forever because this show has brought out a variety of responses from me. Mainly hot flashes, you know, whenever the Viking is onscreen.

    8. Maryann Forrester is finally dead. Yeah, I said it, it wasn’t one of my favorite storylines.

    9. We have werewolves to look forward to. Hopefully there is a weretiger in the future as well. (Might I suggest casting crazy sexy Jon Huertas in that particular role?)

    10. I love this show because it abso-f*cking-lutely DELIVERS, every single episode. Alan Ball loves the fans, the actors love the fans and the writers love the fans, it really shows. Now if we could just get the cameramen to love the fans, maybe next time we have a naked Viking they could pan down further south. HINT HINT!!!!

Oops … missed the sentence asking me to tell what I most love about True Blood. It pays to read carefully.

I’ve read the books, and I love the way Alan Ball has taken the framework of the novels and gone in a slightly different direction, changing a bit here, adding there, until we have a whole delightful new and wonderful story about Sookie, vampires and the inhabitants of Bon Temps. So, instead of one story, there are two. Apples and oranges. I love them both!

I love that True Blood is intelligent adult escapism that captures the best of romance, drama, comics, mythology, and magic. It delves into the serious topics of life, death, love, spirituality, human rights – and gives it to us with wit, imagination, rich characters, great acting, and thank you, love/sex scenes that are believable even as fantasy. My dream dinner party would have to include Alan Ball, who floored me episode after episode in Six Feet Under, and has done it again with True Blood.

Why also should I win? I really need a vacation!

TRUE BLOOD – two words that stick in my mind 24 hrs a day – 7 days a week – 365 days a year. I have read every book I can get my hands on and have seen every episode at least a dozen times… the Godric episode even MORE!!! You just can’t get enough of the Sookie story line… it is remarkable how the books intertwine in the series but Alan Ball leaves enough to the imagination as to not let it be exactly like the books. He just makes you want MORE AND MORE!!! (Except for the Maryanne thing… Alan we gotta talk… ).

What other show can you say you talk to friends on the phone about or over the water cooler at work. We have pow wows on Monday mornings at work to discuss the latest episode of the Series or the latest book that came out. We pass along the latest tweet or the latest scoop. There is never a down time from True Blood whether it is on HBO or not… we always find some way to discuss it or bring it up in conversation.

Why do I deserve these tickets over all the other adoring fans out there… because I DO!!!!

It’s sexy, fun ,crazy and great drama every sunday night we anticipate the next episode , at work we all wonder what will happen. Let me shift like Sam Merlotte and drink some “V” like Lafayette. Goddrick burned, the sun was hot! Daphne’s fine, that doe can trot. Thought I saw ole Eggs get shot! My rhyme’s done now, that’s all I got.

My poem may suck, but what’s the danger? Bite me ’cause I’M A FANGBANGER!!!

True Blood is incredibly written, the actors/actresses are tallented beyond belief and the show is all out addicting. Most of my friends and family watch the show.
What I love most about True Blood is spending quality time with my husband watching the show together with a glass of wine and some snacks. I also love talking to my friends and family on Monday about what happened in the last episode.

True Blood is well-written, entertaining and the entire cast is just perfect in their roles. They have brought the characters from the books alive for me. I have hooked my daughters and several of their friends to the show, and now they love it as much as I do!

What’s not to love about a beautifully written show performed by a talented cast of actor’s and actresses? Canceling all your plans just so you can hop on HBO and get completely engrossed in this fantasy world that pulls you in so deep it is almost like your there – living this life in small town Louisiana.

I hope we can see True Blood through 7, 8, or 9 seasons much like our Buffy or Charmed.True Blood offers something for the vampire lover in all of us.. drama, suspense, and a whole bunch of other things after that. I, for one, bow to the great Alan Ball and Charlaine Harris – thank you for such a beautiful gift!

Two words- Alexander Skarsgard. :) Seriously though, What I love most about True Blood is that you can go from having an incredibly poignant, dramatic, thought-provoking, and tearful moment like Godric meeting the sun to Sheriff Bud Dearborn doing a do-si-do with Andy Bellfleur while wearing his gun belt, minus his pants; that you can go from a sexy sizzling moment between Eric and Sookie (“trust me”) to Mike Spencer sitting in a jail cell because he sodomized a pine tree.

Honestly, where else on TV are you gonna find all that? :D

True Blood creates a fun, sexy, dark and exciting world for me and so many other fans to share with each other and also escape into when things on the outside look a bit grim…It is one of the few healthy addictions!

I love the show and the books. I think True Blood is the best Vampire series to come out since Buffy and Angel…..much better than those. I hope the show keeps going, and maybe a movie for the future would be great. Charlaine Harris is right up there with the greats like
Stephen King, Robin Cook, Dean Koontz, and John Saul, and much better than Anne Rice imho. Im addicited, and I would totaly let Eric munch on me….he’s yummy.

The thing I love most about True Blood is how it can deal with real world, civil issues, like the discrimination of human beings by mainstream society, with a sense of humor. It’s a parody of real world situations and problems we deal with every day. There is a perfect balance of love, sex and blood that is almost magical. The ex-viking, turned vampire doesnt hurt either.

I figured even though the winner was said to be drawn at random, that it wouldn’t hurt to get a little creative. I was seeing if I could alter the results through telepathy or if I should just stick to the glamouring.

From the sounds of “Jace Everett” until the scenes for the next episode,
everything thats inbetween is mesmerizing!! So with that in mind I would have to go with “Everything” and hope that the seasons keep coming :)

What I LOVE most about True Blood is the way it absorbs you and possesses you like a demon, a really fun, dramatic, romantic, sexy, addictive, horrific demon. I love being surprised each week, and left stomping like a an angry child denied candy when the credits roll. Please shoot for 10 seasons at least!!!!!!

What I Love about True Blood is the fact that this show is sexy, funny and sooo ADDICTING! I’m a true vampire-genre-freak and I love the fact that TB has stayed true to what vampires are/should be but have added a couple of twists (like surviving off synthetic blood & mainstreaming among humans) making you turn in every Sunday to see what happened and to get your questions answered. LOVE IT!

What do I love most about True Blood? Um…Stephen Moyer, and his completely orgasmic portrayal of Vampire Bill Compton. That sexy, penetrating stare of his knocks my panties off. Oh..and Sam’s a cutie too. Kudos to HBO for putting together the sexiest cast alive. Eyecon would be heaven. Even if Stephen is absent…that still leaves you in a room full of Hot, Sexy, Intelligent men who are great at role playing…EVERY woman’s fantasy.

I LOVE that True Blood goes off the beaten path from the books! At first, as an avid reader of the Sookie Stackhouse novels I became a little dissapointed that they were different. But, after some time I began to love how they changed it up! It made episodes more exciting, more surprising and completely unpredictable! It also brought around some of my favorite new characters like Jessica!! :)
I live in Orlando and have been hearing about this event all around town…. I really hope I can win!!!!
