Denis O’Hare to appear in Getty Center’s Selected Shorts

Casting has been announced for Selected Shorts: A Celebration of the Short Story, to be seen at the Getty Center in Los Angeles on March 26 and 27. The series is produced by New York’s Symphony Space.

On Saturday, March 26 at 3pm, the program will feature “Karaoke Don Quixote” by Juan Martinez, performed by Nathan Corddry; “Ziggurat” by Stephen O’Connor, performed by Tim Curry; and “Rapture of the Deep” by T.C. Boyle, performed by Isaiah Sheffer.

On Saturday, March 26 at 7pm, the program will feature “But the One on the Right” by Dorothy Parker, performed by Christina Pickles; “Broccoli” by Lara Vapnyar, performed by Heather Goldenhersh; and”Smorgasbord” by Tobias Wolff, performed by Rene Auberjonois.

On Sunday, March 27 at 3pm, the program will feature “Halibut” by Etgar Keret, performed by Josh Radnor; “Bayonne” by John Cheever, performed by Mary Kay Place; and “Graven Image” by John O’Hara, performed by Denis O’Hare.

After each matinee performance and 45 minutes before Saturday’s evening program, a perfectly paired wine and a scrumptious treat inspired by the series will be served.

    Awesome that it’s such a draw and sold out. I would love to see Denis on stage. Guess that will remain a pipe dream.
