Joe Manganiello is another True blood cast member seen around Lincoln Center during Spring 2012 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Joe was seen today, September 12, 2011 in New York City.
In this video below of the finale of the Perry Ellis Spring/Summer 2012 show at New York Fashion Week you can spot Joe seated in the front row of the audience especially as the models are leaving the runway.
Joe also stopped to talk to Esquire while there:
At this season’s Perry Ellis show, we ran into True Blood‘s Joe Manganiello (the werewolf one), who’s so big in person he might as well be one of those athletes we’ve been seeing all week. We had a few minutes to chat, so he tried to convince us he actually cares about clothes — and why it’s a good time to be a stylish celebrity these days.
Esquire: What brings you to Perry Ellis today?
Joe Manganiello: Well, I always said to people that if I made it big, I would dress the part.
ESQ: And your personal style, how would you describe that?
JM: I’ve been telling people this all week: designer lumberjack. So let’s go with that.
ESQ: What are you, like a size 44-long?
JM: Ha! How’d you guess. Exactly. That’s pretty great.
ESQ: I’m a style editor. Lots of athletes in the front row this week, they are all huge too. Is it tough to find clothes if you’re that big?
JM: Yea, there’s a shitload of big guys. But all the Italian brands are kind of broad in the shoulders, lean in the torso, and long, so that helps me out.
ESQ: So you truly do care about clothes, it seems like.
JM: I do. it’s good to be a celebrity right now, I think, because men in Hollywood are actually starting to dress like stars again.
