Luke Grimes To Play the New Vampire James in True Blood Season 6

lukegrimesLuke Grimes has been added to the cast of True Blood Season 6 to play the recurring role of James, a circa ’70s-made vamp who is smart, spiritual and emotionally deeper than any other vampire seen in the series before.

He is described as a cross between Jim Morrison and Gary Clark Jr. with even more of a poet’s edge who is every women’s dream come true, and he doesn’t even know it.

Luke Grimes, who spent two seasons on Brothers & Sisters as William Walker’s love child Ryan, will be appear half way through the upcoming season.

Is this the character that was previously being casted as ‘Wes’?

He definitely feels more like a James than a Wes. It’s nice that B writers aren’t shy about changing the characters names or changing their descriptions.

I remember him from Brothers & Sisters, loved that show. The longer hair looks great on him.

Nice addition to the sizzling cast of TB; I’m sure Luke will do well being the emotionally deeper vampire James turned in the 70’s.
