Below are the videos I have from the True Blood Season 7 Premiere red carpet. I want to give a special thanks to those who’s video interviews were lost when, for some reason my camera stopped saving the videos I recorded.
- Nelsan Ellis whom I’ve been dying to interview forever who I got to speak with about his new film about James Brown and about the lovely Lafayette.
- Adina Porter who I have interviewed and who has always been gracious who will also be saying goodbye to her other show The Network this season.
- Tara Buck spoke to me for a long time on video and said that she was really excited for her character and for the fans to see the new season. I hear that she has her own “arc” this year, so I’m looking forward to seeing that because Tara has always been a super nice person to me and I wish her the best.
- Mariana Klaveno who looked so lovely and was nice enough to make a side visit on her way into the theater to say hello. She talks about a new series she is on called, Devious Maids on ABC.
- And, finally to Stephen Moyer who defied all his handlers when he was being urged to go into the Theater but said “NO, I have to talk to this lady.” We spoke briefly about his participation in the Soccer Aid event a couple of weeks ago and he told me how much he enjoyed his week training and getting ready for the game in which he only played for about 5 minutes.

Lynn, sooo happy for you! What a fantastic, and truly deserved, experience you had. If anyone is #TrueToTheEnd and beyond, it’s you! Thanks for bringing us behind these scenes via your coverage…the candid pics of the cast you got are true gems, I agree, so much more intimate than posed photos…capturing the pathos of the True Blood family as they gather en masse for one of the last times. Having done my fair share of interviews as well and always being nervous about my recording equipment, and sometimes having it fail on me, I encourage you to be gentle with yourself and let that go…believe me, I know its easier said than done, but I challenge myself all the time to not beat myself up for things that are out of my control, and what you got is fantastic! Congrats, hope you are still basking in the glow :-)
Well done, Lynn. First of all, sorry about the lost videos. It was great fun hearing cast members’ favorite scenes, craziest scenes, thoughts about the show, what what they’ll miss most. My favorite interview was Chris Bauer’s. And I must agree with Lauren … Russell Edgington de-spining that newscaster ranks right up there with me. Wow!! Another favorite scene of mine: Bill and Sookie having cemetery sex. Yowzah!
And I must add it was a special treat to see Dale and Patricia. I’m looking forward to what Maxine and Jane Bodehouse will be up to this season.
Thank you! Enjoying these videos very much.
Loving the various shout ours I’ve received. The video of Patricia and Dale is my absolute favorite! Such wonderful ladies!
ShadalizaMonterosa Shad, I can’t wait to see them back. I’m envisioning Maxine with a shotgun. Maybe Jane can K.O. someone with a bottle of whiskey.
